Sona means gold in Urdu, and I created Studio Sona to honor that — because like gold, the moments we capture together only grow more valuable with time.

How do I book a session with you?

Reach out via the contact form or DM me on Instagram at @studiosonaphotography. I'll get back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability and details. Please note, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. This is applied toward your total session fee.

What's included in each session?

Every session includes a pre-shoot consultation, the shoot itself, and a curated gallery of fully edited images delivered within one-two weeks.

What happens if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. Just give me at least 48 hours notice and we'll find a new date that works for both of us!

Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely — location scouting is part of what I do. Whether you have somewhere in mind or want me to suggest spots, I'll help find a location that fits your vision and the vibe of your session. Chicago has incredible backdrops and I know them well.

It's my first photoshoot - what can I expect?

No experience needed. I'll guide you through the whole session — from where to stand to how to move — so you never feel lost or awkward. Most people forget about the camera within the first few minutes. My job is to make you feel comfortable so your photos look and feel like you.

Do you travel to the surrounding suburbs?

Yes, I absolutely can travel to any suburb in the Chicagoland area! Please note, there is a small travel fee for these sessions.
